There are reasonable flights from the U.S. to Puerto Vallarta. Taxis can be taken from airport; or private cars or vans for group rides can be arranged from airport to first night's lodging on Saturday 27th in Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Sunday morning a private water taxi ride will take us across the Bay of Banderas to disembark at Isabel's Beach in Yelapa, and then about a 5 minute walk to Pura Vida. Bags will be delivered to your room.

Your accommodation is nestled on a lush tropical hillside overlooking the ocean, with each room offering its own unique blend of comfort, privacy, and connection to nature. Choose from open-air or air-conditioned rooms (contact me directly for pricing of more enclosed, AC rooms, not included on main accommodation page) You can choose a room for triple occupancy, double occupancy or single occupancy; all featuring comfortable beds and organic sheets, private or shared bathrooms, and peaceful jungle or ocean views. If you are a solo traveler and would like to share a room, roommates will be assigned. If you need help deciding on what kind of room suits you best, I can help you after you put down your deposit. Once on site, depending on availability, it will be possible to change rooms.

There are no ATMs in Yelapa, so you will have to bring all of the pesos you intend to use for the week. This retreat is designed for anyone how has a curiosity to explore their relationship to their body through deep awareness and personal movement; who is open to transformation in service of realizing their dreams. There is no prior experience needed to benefit from the practices if you are open.Many of the shared practices use guided touch; either by myself or in exchanged amongst the group. There will be permission protocols and agreed boundaries in place to respect and ensure everyone's comfortability and safety. If sharing touch, or being touched, is a sensitive area for you; this retreat may not be for you.Please note that Pura Vida Wellness Retreat Center is nestled on a hillside in the car-free village of Yelapa, where access is by boat and daily walking includes stairs, hills, and uneven paths. Enjoy three delicious, freshly prepared meals each day, featuring wholesome vegetarian cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients inspired by the vibrant flavors of Mexico. Absolutely. Most participants attend solo. However, couples and friend groups are enthusiastically welcomed also! Register and Pay with a partner or friend and recieve an additional 5% discount on each package.In case of attending with partners or close friends; there will be agreements on healthy group dynamics and it will be encouraged to actively engage with participants outside of your circle in practices and activities that take place in dyads and triads.

Yes, Pura Vida and most restaurants in Yelapa have WiFi now. There is cell service also; although sometimes limited and better for certain carriers. We also encouage all retreat participants to take this opportunity to "unplug" to some degree and allow yourself to sink into the natural rhythm and sensory experience of this unique setting.

A the time of the retreat in late March/early April, daytime highs should average around 82°F to 84°F, refreshing nighttime lows of 64°F to 68°F, and virtually no rain. Absolutely perfect weather for the "open air living" accomodation options.

You're welcome to arrive before the retreat or extend your stay to enjoy more time in beautiful Yelapa, subject to room availability at Pura Vida Wellness Retreat Center. There is a 10% discount on retreat participants booking extensions or early arrivals. Please contact Pura Vida directly to find out about availability. Pura Vida is a retreat center oriented on meditation, healing, spiritual awakening and personal transformation. Therefore alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and loud music is not permitted in any of the public or shared spaces. Wine and alcohol are allowed in your private accommodations with permission from anyone sharing the space. Participants arriving to any classes or excursions visibly intoxicated may be removed.
